Nats question bail-for-medals deal

Nats question bail-for-medals deal
The National party has questioned the release of a leading gang figure on bail after his involvement in the return of priceless stolen war medals. The New Zealand Herald revealed today that Daniel Crichton was granted bail on serious drugs charges after he negotiated with the thieves who stole the 96 medals, including nine Victoria Crosses, from the Waiouru Army Museum in December. His release was part of the deal which saw the thieves paid some of the $300,000 reward offered from within New Zealand and overseas for the return of the medals. Crichton was a former Black Power member linked to the Headhunters gang.

His connections with the Black Power and the Headhunters makes him a ‘BlackHead’, a special arm of the two gangs that have both gangs reps to live up to, Crichton answers to no one and is king pin enough to know who stole the medals, but I’m not sure John Key understands that when you are the one in power you make hard calls like this, we’re talking our war medal history here, you gotta cut a deal with a P dealer (alleged), you cut the deal – yes it’s messy, yes it’s unpleasant, but you’ve got the medals back – and allowing back lines of communication between the legal and illegal worlds is important, stop acting all virgin like Mr Key, it makes you look naive.

Oh and what about that appalling daughter of Upham getting on her high horse over this, isn’t she the same daughter who tried to pawn his medals off to the highest bidder a couple of years ago?

Sounds like you are impressed by this man.

If you think he is an "alleged" P dealer, then you are more naive than John Key.

He should not have been let out, this is a travesty. Are the medals so important that people think it's ok to put a P dealer back on the streets so he can sell drugs to our kids and get them all fucked up? Where is the priority here?

It's this pesky thing called the law Anon, you know, until someone has been found guilty thing - his case is pending, hence 'alleged' - although with 81 grams of P on him I'd love to see his defence for it being for his own use - "Im dating Millie Holmes"
