Spicy Pork

Spicy Pork

When it comes to pigs, I’m Jewish. I don’t have much time for the cops, I believe that cut back after cut back has led us to a Police force of thugs who increasingly, due to their poor training, need to rely on force through weaponry than their ability to calm a situation down.

It takes 19 weeks to be a cop -19 WEEKS – during that time they spend ONE DAY on domestic violence. Could you hope to understand all the complexities of domestic violence in ONE DAY? No wonder so many woman die due to domestic violence and it was recently reported how ineffective Police were at asserting restraining orders against violent men. The cut backs not only create poorly trained cops, it has created a cost-effective way of policing crime. In the good old days Police collected all the evidence and went where it led. These days the Police ‘profile’ a Crime, that is to say they find the person most likely to have committed the crime and try and create any evidence (no matter how weak) to connect that person to the crime. I think that this has created a whole bunch of decisions recently where a person becomes convicted on circumstantial evidence, much cheaper than the old way, but then again only rich people can afford good justice can’t they?

The latest test of poorly behaved cops has come from the ‘pepper spry in the face’ saga. Constable Alexander Nicholson was filmed spraying a handcuffed, non-resisting Scott McDonald in the face with pepper spray, the case is currently under examination. When pepper spray was rolled out, Police spin doctors argued that the frontline needed such weapons to fight P fuelled killers, we all frighteningly agreed. Reality is however, that poorly trained cops, needing to stamp their alpha male aggro over any situation have ended up using pepper spray as an added special meted out to any bugger in custody who looks sideways at Big Brother. It’s a little like how the cops will let the Police Dog maul you for a couple of minutes after you are screaming for them to stop, you know the kind of garden variety brutality we have come to expect from our boys in blue. The cops now want tasers which will of course quickly get added to ‘stuff that gets done to you while no one is looking’ list of fun games this alpha male culture seems to breed now that these days, group rape seems to have run foul of the PC brigade.

Reading through the Police statement made by Constable Alexander Nicholson there is a hidden gem to perhaps explain his testosterone induced alpha male posturing. He reportedly went up to the waitress who Scott McDonald had insulted which had led to the cops being called in the first place, and boasted to her "I’ve got him for you". Suddenly things become a lot more apparent don’t they - big tough cop boy wants to play the hero to the poor waitress and goes ahead and pepper sprays, an admittedly drunk and annoying Scott McDonald, in the face to ‘get him back’, all for the pretty waitress.

When will we get an INDEPENDENT Police Complaints authority so we can be assured the Boys in Blue don’t end up wearing brownshirts?

Bomber, when you were filming your "Stakeout" programme (which involved several interviews with the Police), did you tell the Police that they were "pigs" and that you hate them? Do you think that they would have wanted you to interview them if they knew your opinion of them? If you intend to film a new series, do you think, just for the sake of openess, that I should send a copy of your opinions to the Police just so they know who they are dealing with?
Have you ever been a Policeman, say, on a Friday night with drunk wankers provoking you and spitting in your face, or worse, getting kinghit by some aggro cunt?

Um if you remember the show you will remember how we were critical of the cops because they had a position of simply picking up under age prostitutes and dropping them back home, even though 70% of those girls were being sexually abused at home - of course being a police officer is hard, but poorly trained cops cuase more harm than good

Martyn Bradbury, I know you hate the police force at times and you have a few reasons to have such mistrust but you can NOT judge the entire force over a few incidents from your student years and now; mainly as you are a shit stirrer from way back and you cant go pushing the force buttons and not expect to hear an explosion every now and again. Domestic volence in NZ is out of control because there are weak women with no confidence to work let alone live independently and escape a circle of violence. The same women time and time again phone the police for help when they have had an 'incident' yet when it comes to pressing charges they change their minds and usually get back with their abusive partner. They seem to have a "its better to stay with an abusive partner than leave for the unknown and be alone" type attitude and then there are drugs, alcohol and so on and it makes it ten time worse. Police time is wasted time and time again. Unfortunately it comes to late for some people. Yes there are a few bad apples out there but there are plenty of good ones that look and taste fantastic and are never tempted by the snake.

and of course you have valid points - but are you HONESTLY telling me that the fact the cops only spend ONE DAY training on the leading cause of death for woman in this country doesn't in any way trouble you?

bomber, why dont you put your money where your mouth is and join up. I double dare you.

Then you can show them hows things should be done while you still know evrything.

Very easy to criticise my friend, very easy.

Dude - are you telling me that you deserve getting pepper sprayed AFTER you have been hand-cuffed? Don't get me wrong, I'm sure the guy could have been a big pisshead, a right pain in the arse - but we allowed the cops to have pepper spray because they argued it would be preferable to pepper spray someone rather than shoot them. We all got that argument, that seemed reasonable, but we now find out that it's also used to effectively cause pain to people already hand-cuffed! That's the sorta shit Police in corrupt regimes pull folks. Sure, use the spray if you are arresting a violent person who is a genuine threat, but don't allow a Police culture to exist that’s going to use the Spray as a form of torture, just because they can.

Come on anon - I can't have an opinion on the Police force unless I sign up? That's just crazy talk!

To answer your question as to whether you deserve to be peppered after being handcuffed: lets just say that having been to some of those supposed Black Tie corporate functions and seen the nature of some of the contemptuous attendees with their pompous piss fueled arrogance, the way the treat staff, and others, then yes, I do think that some people not only deserve it, but that it should be mandatory.

Comrade, let's be clear - all the elites should be smashed, but its the non violence nature of the smashing we need to focus on. For example, feel free to urinate or spit in the food, as long as you don't hit people, it's pretty simple really

The abuses of our police are no surprise when you have a monster like Clint Rickards as the second most powerful policeman in the country. He got off but many in NZ know the truth. He also intimidated those who investigated his own case.

On the flip side we have some good cops. I know a few cops personally who are calm, level-headed and hard working.

Martyn Baby, No I dont think that one days training on domestic incidents is enough but I can honestly state that once 'you' are in uniform you get enough training first hand on these incidents to last you a lifetime. Its a frustrating job, especially out South where a young or old officer leaves the academy and and is full of great ideas on how to help the community but after a while they discover the hard way that the community has to actually recognize it needs help before it can be helped. The old days are well over and todays police officer deals mainly in shit, vomit, alcohol, drugs, gangs and more shit. There isnt a thank you from the little old lady at the end of the day. Just a finger up and the whisper of 'pig' from some idiot with a hoodie on and a machette down his pants.

Oh come on, are you a Police recruiter? Dude of course being a Police Officer is hard, but part of the reason the job is so hard is because ill tempered, angry, frustrated Police Officers get out of hand, and a harsh environment creates brutality. Part of the solution is more resources to enable better training, counseling and equipment, The other part is an open, independent complaints system that keep Police within the law. But we are never going to get to that position, because it is in the vested interests of the Government AND the Police not to have an open system. We have to point out that it’s broken before we get to the point where it’s against the law to point out that it’s broken.

I completely agree there should be an independent authority for dealing with police complaints. And are you going to make it happen or will you continue to throw sacks of shit at the police until the time comes when you need their help? Give the police a break Martyn I-know-and-love-you Bradbury for you can't taint every officer with the same dead fish that you got slapped on the face with.

......................................dear Princess, I am doing my best to change the system by raising the point again, and again, and again.

And again
